Company
history

1980

Angecourt, Ardennes

La Frappe Ardennaise was founded in December 1980 by Mr Henri Massin. Based in Angecourt, around 10 km from Sedan and 20 km from the Belgian border, it specialises in the cold forging of fasteners and mechanical fasteners in small and medium-sized production runs.

1995

Bazeilles, Ardennes

This year was marked by several major events. After spending fifteen years at the Angecourt site, the company moved to its current location in the heart of the Bazeilles industrial zone, on the outskirts of Sedan and close to major motorways. Another notable event was the arrival of Mr. Dominique MASSIN in the R&D department.

1999

1999

Concerned about the quality and traceability of the parts it supplies to its customers, but also in order to meet the standards and requirements of some of them, the company decided to obtain ISO 9001 certification. The certification was successfully validated and the certificate can be downloaded from the website.

2009

2009

Attentive to the market and its developments, La Frappe Ardennaise made significant investments to upgrade and modernise its production facilities. At the same time, it adapted its tooling workshop by digitising it (CNC lathe, wire EDM, programmable furnaces, etc.) and continued to adapt its R&D department with the use of CAD software and cold forming deformation calculation software.

2011

2011

In order to strengthen its offering and improve the quality of its services, La Frappe Ardennaise equipped its Quality department with a measurement laboratory enabling it to carry out dimensional, hardness, metallography and coating thickness checks, as well as capability calculations.

2014

In order to overcome the difficulties encountered in the production of certain cold-stamped parts, La Frappe Ardennaise has equipped itself with an induction heating system for semi-hot stamping.

2024

2024

With a view to revitalising its image, La Frappe Ardennaise changed both its logo and its graphic charter. It also took the opportunity to review its communication policy and improve its presence on various networks (physical and virtual).
