ISO 9001 certification renewal

Since March 1999, on the initiative of Mr Dominique MASSIN, La Frappe Ardennaise has been ISO 9001 certified. A guarantee of the consistency, adaptability, responsiveness, commitment and transparency of our organisational system, this certification is therefore renewed on a regular basis.

What is ISO 9001?

Recognised as the global benchmark, the ISO 9001 standard is based on the principle of continuous improvement.

Adaptable to the culture and best practices of each company, it provides guidance for management and organisation without defining ready-made solutions.

One of the many possible approaches to understanding it is to use the PDCA cycle.

The PDCA cycle

This acronym refers to a structured method of continuous improvement or problem solving, symbolised by the Deming Wheel.

PDCA stands for Plan – Do – Check – Act

  • Plan : Definition of the work to be done
  • Do : Implementation of the actions defined previously
  • Check : Verification of the effectiveness of the actions taken
  • Act : Finalise the process to ensure the sustainability of the results of the actions implemented

PDCA is a cycle. It is therefore entirely possible to return to the planning phase in order to continuously improve your project or process.

ISO 9001 certification

Issued by a certification body following an audit, ISO 9001 certification is then renewed every three years. In addition, annual audits are conducted to confirm that it remains valid between renewals.

For several years, La Frappe Ardennaise has entrusted this task to LRQA.

Renewal audit

On 9 September 2024, La Frappe Ardennaise was audited by LRQA as part of this renewal audit for our ISO 9001 certification.

During this day, the auditor reviewed all the processes and procedures put in place as part of our Quality Policy.

At the end of the inspection, he drew up a report summarising his findings and any comments.

This audit validated the renewal of our certification for three years, rewarding the work and investment of all our employees, who constantly strive to satisfy our customers and continuously seek improvement.

A big thank you to everyone for their ongoing commitment.
